Ages 3–5

Early Learning & School Readiness

Strong foundations for confident beginnings.

Our early learning programs support children aged 3–5 through age-appropriate, teacher-led learning. Younger children focus on thinking, early maths and fine motor development; as they become ready, we gradually introduce phonics, letter recognition, early writing and more structured number concepts.

Learning That Grows With Your Child

Preschool Foundations
Typically Ages 3–4

Thinking & Logic · Early Maths · Fine Motor & Pencil Skills

Children develop visual thinking, matching, sorting, early number concepts and problem-solving skills while building the fine motor control needed for drawing and early writing.

School Readiness
Typically Ages 4–5

Thinking & Logic · Early Maths · Phonics · Letters & Writing

As children become ready for more structured learning, we introduce stronger number concepts, phonics, letter sounds, letter recognition and early writing while continuing to develop thinking and problem-solving skills.

Age is a guide, not a level. We recommend the most suitable program based on each child’s development and readiness.

How Young Children Learn

Structured learning, with plenty of room to explore.

Young children learn best when they can see, touch, try, talk and practise. Our classes combine clear teacher guidance with hands-on activities, helping children build skills in a way that feels engaging and achievable.

Hands-On & Activity-Based
Children learn through matching, sorting, counting, drawing and hands-on problem solving.

Short, Purposeful Learning Tasks
Activities are designed around young children’s attention spans, with skills introduced gradually and reinforced through repetition.

Teacher Guidance at Every Step
Our teachers model new skills, support children as they practise and adjust the level when they are ready for more.

We introduce structure gradually — building strong foundations without rushing children into primary-school-style learning.

Ready for the Next Step

Building confidence for a smooth transition to Kindergarten.

Our early learning programs are designed to build the confidence, independence and foundational skills children need as they approach school age. When they are ready, children can move naturally into our Kindy & Big School program for more structured phonics, reading, maths and thinking skills.

Every Child Starts With an Assessment

The right starting point begins with understanding your child.

Before joining a program, each child completes a complimentary assessment with our academic team. We consider their current development, confidence, early learning skills and readiness so we can recommend the most suitable starting point.
